Dachstein – the UNESCO World Heritage

The Dachstein Glacier is one of those must-sees. Here, breathtakingly beautiful scenery meets a unique experience. With the Summer Card, you can enjoy free rides in the new panoramic gondola, the Skywalk, the suspension bridge, the Stairway to Nothingness, and the Ice Palace, all while enjoying unforgettable views.

Wild Water Trail

It bubbles, roars, sprays, splashes, murmurs, and lies serenely between the mountains as a beautiful lake. The "Wild Waters" hiking trail, from Schladming to Lake Riesachsee in the Untertal valley, offers exquisite impressions of the crystal-clear water. It can also be explored in stages. A fascinating gorge, alpine meadows, a moorland with unique flora, an alpine trail with a suspension bridge and ladders, and a mountain lake as a worthwhile destination – it simply couldn't be more beautiful!

Mirror Lake on the Reiteralm

The Reiteralm has long since made a name for itself in winter as an award-winning ski mountain with sensationally beautiful slopes. But even in summer, this wonderful panoramic mountain offers excellent hiking and leisure activities for all ages. An absolute must-see is the Spiegelsee, where, on windless days, you can see the Dachstein massif opposite. A photo opportunity straight out of a catalog! A fantastic playground, via ferrata, bike trails, and welcoming mountain huts complete the offering.

Planai – Hopsi hiking trail

Hopsi, the mascot, isn't just active on the famous ski mountain in winter; he's also especially happy to welcome his younger guests in summer. And he's also prepared something truly wonderful for the children – Styria's highest playground. It's so huge that it's arranged around a stroller-friendly hiking trail. Playing, romping, discovering, and trying things out are all part of the experience. It's impossible to list everything Hopsi has to offer. Why not come by yourself, float up the mountain in the new gondola, and immerse yourself in Hopsi's playground?

4-mountain ski area

Four mountains, 43 modern lifts, 123 kilometers of the finest slopes, plenty of delicious mountain hut cuisine, and endless fun and enjoyment are inextricably linked to skiing on the Planai, Hochwurzen, Reiteralm, and Hauser Kaibling. Ambitious winter sports enthusiasts appreciate the region's high quality just as much as those who enjoy skiing, beginners, and families with children, because the ski mountains offer just the right thing for everyone.

Cross-country skiing in Ramsau am Dachstein

220 kilometers of cross-country ski trails await discovery in Ramsau at the foot of the Dachstein. Cross-country skiing is a true all-rounder – excellent for physical fitness, everyone can set their own pace – and the exercise in the fresh winter air amidst magnificent scenery is truly soothing for the soul. You could almost rave about it... A very special highlight – there are also cross-country ski trails on the Dachstein Glacier – breathtaking panorama included!

Night tobogganing Hochwurzen

Most people know from childhood that sledding is truly fun. The fun still thrills us today, and the incredible views of the mountains probably also do. A 7-km-long toboggan run leads from the Hochwurzen summit to the entrance to the panoramic gondola. In the evening, the toboggan run is illuminated, making nighttime tobogganing an extraordinary experience with a huge fun factor.
